Dr. John M. Pierce has been the official team Physical Therapist for the ECHL Florida Everblades professional ice hockey team for the past 9 years. Through his highly skilled advanced manual physical therapy techniques he has established a successful position as an in game and clinical rehabilitation physical therapist for the Everblades. His treatment style allows pre-game, in game and post game care helping players prepare and perform at their highest level. As an integral part of the Everblades Sports Medicine Team Dr. Pierce manages in game injuries coordinating the athletic trainer and the players with the team MD and medical staff. He further provides treatments after games to aide in recovery and prevention of chronic conditions. All team rehabilitation for the Florida Everblades is provided solely at NNPT. His unique manual physical therapy skill set advanced orthopedic clinical knowledge and dedication to providing the highest level of care has allowed Dr. Pierce to be an integral member of the Florida Everblades and is now a proud Back to Back to Back Kelly Cup Champion.
This same level of care is provided to all the patients at NNPT. Working with professional athletes in game and rehabilitating them back to the elite level of sport has given Dr. Pierce further invaluable experience which he brings back to the clinic and provides to all his patients. Dr. Pierce has 28 years of clinical experience and 9 years of immersive treatment of professional athletes.
